Uno, dos, tres, catorce……..

Thursday 2/12/2026 ——6:55am. 

Just woke up and started with my routine…..read my Bible, reflect and then check the weather for the day, check email, check traffic to work, maybe glance at the news. Everything seemed ok until I sat up…….the room was dark but…..I felt weird, off.

I started to stand up and that’s when it hit. The room started spinning…..I could not stand, I did not have any balance, nothing. Adding to that, because of the crazy dizziness I started to get very, very intense nausea. 

The dizziness was not going away, I couldn’t focus my eyes, had to have my wife text my bosses and teammates letting them know the situation.

After 4-5 hours nothing was getting better. We decided to setup a Teladoc appointment….while talking to the Dr. she prescribed some medicine for the dizziness and for the nausea and she mentioned that if nothing was getting better to go to the hospital right away since this could also be signs of a stroke. 

We waited for a while and it was not getting better so we decided to go to the ER. After spending the rest of the day and most of the night in the ER I had blood drawn out and also a CT scan, a stroke was ruled out and looks like it was a very intense case of vertigo. Last time I dealt with vertigo it was not like this and it was about 7 years ago…..not like this though. 

I was at peace, I thank God for His hand on my life. I know God was and is with me……
